You can eligible to apply for Ministerial Intervention -
  • unlawful and living in the Australian community
  • an illegal maritime arrival (IMA) and have lodged a valid Temporary Protection Visa (TPV) or Safe Haven Enterprise Visa (SHEV) application
  • a non-IMA and have lodged a valid protection visa application
  • a holder of a Bridging Visa E (BVE)
  • facing significant barriers that are impacting on your ability to resolve your immigration status
  • recently released from immigration detention.

Administrative Appeals Tribunal

Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is an independent merits review court of laws which are
authorized to assess the administrative decisions by the government including:

  • Refugee Decision: Most of the cases are related to onshore protection refusal.
  • Migration Decision: A diverse range of cancellations and visa refusals.
  • Character-related refusal decision, citizenship refusal decisions and certain cancellation decisions.
